Swiss director Luzian Schlatter has joined the fold at Mad Cow Films for commercial representation.
Schlatter has more nuggets of wisdom to impart than your average director, having studied both film and psychology at the University of Zurich. Funnily enough, one of Schlatter's core interests was the psychological impact of advertising on consumers.
It's safe to say the Swiss has the theory down, but he's no slouch in the practical department either. A quick glance at his showreel indicates Schlatter's knack for rarefied visuals and compelling set pieces - such as projecting a raucous party onto a tower block for Nokia.
This immersive style has brought Schlatter to the attention of high-profile brands across the globe, with clients consistently impressed by his approach. Given Schlatter's track record, it's little wonder why Phil Chambers and co. wanted to bring him on board.
As Schlatter prepares for his first brief courtesy of Mad Cow, check out his own spin on the Chelsea Flower Show for Sony. Tasked with demonstrating the Bravia television's 4K capabilities, the Swiss summoned his inner horticulturist with alluring results.
