Those enterprising fellows at Kode in London have demonstrated their ambition by joining forces with Native Content who look after directors on both US coasts.
A relationship had already been forged between the two companies but by announcing a formal relationship, they're sending a clear signal to agencies in the UK, as well as the US and Europe that both companies have a greater pool of talent to draw on.
Kode CEO Alex Harman described the great synergy between the two companies as the deciding factor. After being introduced to Native by Kode's dynamic new EP Andrew Porteous, he was struck by the similarity in the two companies' approach: "it was clear they are a company with a mindset likes ours here at Kode."
Harman equivalent at Native - Partner/Executive Producer Ned Brown - was, as one might expect, similarly effusive: "Although we weren't actively looking to partner with a company overseas, it became clear very quickly when we met with Kode that we were on to something exciting.
"They were doing things in interesting new ways and really participating in shaping the new landscape - and their enthusiasm was infectious! We decided almost immediately that we wanted to become allies and we feel really confident that our individual strengths compliment each other in all the right ways."
