Hotspur & Argyle sign Harry Reavley.

by Andrew MacGregor

Hotspur & Argyle have signed fashion film specialist Harry Reavley for commercial representation. Described as "a precocious talent" by MD Danny Fleet, Reavley is already an accomplished editor and director. A fruitful spell with fashion photographer Mario Testino gave Reavley a thorough grounding in aesthetically-pleasing work.

Hotspur & Argyle were also drawn to Reavley's work ethic. His editing background means Reavley is already picturing the final cut on-set. Such forward thinking was required on this House of Flora film.

Reavley's treatment brings new meaning to high fashion. Stealth bombers accentuate the label's futuristic millinery, while precise compositions draw the eye.

[Harry] is disciplined and technically excellent which, coupled with his precocious talent, ensures he has a big future.

Upmarket labels feature throughout Reavley's showreel. For instance, this Jack Wills commercial profiles sporty types who value fashion as well as function.

Welcoming Reavley to Fitzrovia, Danny Fleet says: "We've been monitoring Harry's work for a while. He has a level of experience and accomplishment rare in a young director.

"He is disciplined and technically excellent which, coupled with his precocious talent, ensures he has a big future."
