Aisultan Seitov enlists with Partizan.

by Andrew MacGregor

Partizan have signed what they describe as one of the "most exciting new directing talents" around in the shape of promo director Aisultan Seitov.

Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Seitov has taken the scenic route to success, working predominantly across Central Asia before moving to Los Angeles. He's since established himself on the promo circuit with a handful of eye-catching videos for the likes of Offset and 21 Savage.

The Kazakh's rapport with edgy artists like these has got Partizan especially excited, as they believe directors like Seitov can help bridge the gap between brands and younger audiences. Furthermore, Seitov continues to refine his shooting style at an impressive rate.

His progress is evident in this 2019 promo for 21 Savage. Using an ensemble cast and some pointed compositions, Seitov deftly weaves together family conflict, poverty, institutional racism, and black history into one six-and-a-half-minute epic.

For more on Aisultan Seitov, ring Partizan's Ailie Robertson or Rishi Hindocha on 020 7851 0200.
