Agile Films welcome Lily Rose Thomas.

by Andrew MacGregor

Riding high after the release of her first independent short film, 'Girls Who Drink', director Lily Rose Thomas is pleased to join the ranks at Agile Films.

Described by this parish as "a fascinating meditation on the complicated relationship many people have with alcohol", the film reflects Thomas's interest in the issues affecting young people in modern society.

For example, 2017's 'A Short Film About Anxiety' took a deep dive into troubled minds unable to switch off in a 24/7 world. Co-directed with Stephen Isaac-Wilson, the piece - which flits between close-up interviews and heightened vignettes - demonstrates both Thomas's compassion and her vivid eye for detail.

Agile's new signing is also keen to return to her promo roots wherever possible, having cut her teeth designing album covers and shooting videos for artists such as Beach Baby and Little Cub. As you can see, it's worth staying tuned for Thomas's Agile debut.

Fancy Lily Rose Thomas for your next project? Then ring Agile's Fliss Hutcheson on 020 7000 2882 or email her via fliss@agilefilms.com.
