76 sign Robin Goode.

by Andrew MacGregor

76 Ltd have recruited one of South Africa's foremost directors in the shape of Robin Goode.

The Cape Town-based filmmaker has plenty of industry experience behind him, having worked as a creative director before settling into the director's chair. Boasting a strong array of TVCs and shorts films, Goode's aim now is to tackle as many quality UK briefs as 76 can muster.

He's especially keen to engage with brands and "show them something they haven't seen in their own project" - a collaborative approach which Goode feels can only increase the chances of a memorable outcome.

A quick glance at Goode's showreel proves he's a man in, well, good form, as light-hearted japes starring Usain Bolt rest alongside gritty throwbacks to Muhammed Ali and George Foreman's ‘Rumble in the Jungle'.

Coupled with his knack for storytelling, careful framing, and composition, 76's first South African director has plenty in his locker… and EP Mark Murrell is eager to share Goode's skills with as many open-minded clients as possible.
